Heat Treatment Prep Checklist
This interactive checklist will help you prepare your home for a successful heat treatment. Please complete all items before our arrival.

A Clean Start: Completing these simple preparation steps ensures our treatment is 100% effective and eliminates all bed bugs in a single visit. Please complete all checklist items below before our arrival.
1. Before We Arrive
1.1Move beds & couches 12 inches from walls (if space allows)
1.2Remove all items from under beds (leave them in the room)
1.3Reduce clutter — less mess = better results
1.4.1Remove half of packed linen closets
1.4.2Wash & dry linens/towels/clothes on high heat for 30+ minutes
1.4.3Place laundered items in tied trash bags and keep in the garage or kitchen/dining area (NOT bedrooms)
1.5.1Unplug and power down all electronics (Fridge & stove can stay plugged in)
1.5.2DO NOT turn electronics back on until rooms are cool
1.6.1Notify us of: vinyl floors, Thermofoil cabinets, fire sprinklers, heat sensors, or alarm systems (set to 'test mode' 7AM–7PM)
1.6.2Remove all smoke detectors
1.6.3Remove vinyl blinds from windows and place on floor in front of window
2. Remove From The Home (Or Place In Fridge)
2.1People, pets, aquariums, plants (Don't place in the fridge)
2.2Candles, crayons, glue, wax decor
2.3Fire extinguishers, aerosol cans, any pressurized items
2.4Medications, chocolates, fruits, beverages, perishables
2.5Musical instruments (unless previously discussed)
2.6Artwork & wall hangings (place on counters or tables inside room)
3. Day-Of Instructions
3.1Wear freshly washed clothing that's been stored in a sealed bag
3.2Leave purses, backpacks, laptop bags, suitcases, strollers inside the home to be treated
3.3Place valuables (cash, ID, cards, keys) in a Ziploc to bring with you
3.4Make parking space available close to your front entrance
